DIAGNODE-3
COORDINATING INVESTIGATOR
Professor Johnny Ludvigsson
Crown Princess Victoria Children’s Hospital, Sweden

The importance of preserving your own remaining insulin production cannot be overstated. With more own insulin production the patient can more easily manage their diabetes and the risk of long-term complications is reduced. In this trial we investigate if we can preserve some of that insulin production for those with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes. - Professor Johnny Ludvigsson
